The Mendips and Mid-Somerset

Our hotel

This event is located in the beautiful part of Somerset and the Mendips. There are rolling hills, magnificent views and quite country roads. The event will take place in from the 6th - 9th September 2026.

We negotiated excellent rates at the Leigh Park Country House and Hotel with its 38 rooms. With the current level of interest, it is likely we will have the hotel to ourselves. Make sure you register early to ensure you will get a room.

There is a lot to see, including:

• The Haynes Motor Museum
• The city of Wells with its magnificent cathederal
• Bath; Roman baths and Jane Austen
• Glastonbury and the site of the famous festival
• East Somerset Railway
• A number of houses and magnificent gardens
• Clarkes and Kilver Court shopping outlets
• Cheddar Gorge

The event will take place over 4 days / 3 nights with organised runs and suggested visits on two of the days. Finishing with a gala dinner on the last night.
